Black River

We ventured to the wilds of the White Mountain Apache Reservation to try our luck against the wily small mouth bass who live in the Black River. Since it is a short 2 mile backpack hike from the car to base camp, I didn't travel as light as I probably should have. Fish weren't as crazy hungry as other times I've been there. Water flow was too high. That's my excuse why I only caught 24 fish. Good times, except for my sprained ankle. (I fell and thought I had broken it.... I had to pack back out with an injury, no fun) I haven't sprained my ankle like this since highschool.

the sprained ankle is a total bummer. But I am glad that you all had a good time. Thanks for keeping Justin company while I was gone:)
